Panera's are the same everywhere you go. And I suspect it's this familiarity that brings people back. That's why I come back...I can count on great quality every time. What makes this store stand out is the friendly service...and the energetic atmosphere from all the PSU students. Soup, sandwiches, salads, pastries, coffee and tea. You'll find something that satisfies you. Stop in.

I just had the best experience here. After a mishap with a different Panera location I showed up here and received excellent service! The manager was so kind and accommodating. They even offered me a free bakery item! This is the best Panera in the area!

Family fest menu from Panera! The veggie sandwich and the greek salad were good. The french baguette not so much (really hard for a baguette). The tomato soup was a little to strong so we mixed it with milk to get a lighter flavor.

It’s in downtown State College. As expected, during school semesters (Fall & Spring), you’ll get more variety of services (warm vs. cold) and atmosphere (quiet vs. loud). But during summer or winter times, it is a nice place to hangout.

It's a Panera. No different than any other I've been to, except they have kiosks to order at. The food is good-to-great, service time is reasonable, and their bagel/pastry offerings are pretty solid too.

I had a wonderful experience - my first with this store. I had emailed my bagel order the night before/Rapid Pickup, as I needed 18 for work. Pick up time 7:30. I arrived early at 7:15 and the very nice young woman said - no problem! The order isn't quite ready, but I will get it ready for you now. It will just take a few minutes, and when I asked if they could be cut - even though I forgot to requested that- she said sure, no problem! They were ready in 5 min. and everyone was very nice. The young lady was smiling, gracious and managed to help other customers and still stay on my order. I will definitely go again. I believe that server is headed for wonderful opportunities as she has GREAT customer service skills! Kudos!

Great place to have a quiet moment to yourself to eat or even to have a small business meeting. Plenty of places to sit and great food. Close to lots of other businesses.

The food was good, and I love the kiosks you can order at rather than waiting to order at a register. Only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because my friend left their passport and when we were back at the parking spot they tried calling to ask if it was there and nobody picked up. I know it can get busy with online orders sometimes, but we had to go back without knowing if it was there or not and it was stressful. Plus, I had to pay for more parking. Nothing wrong with the food, just the customer service.
